Ah Fung posted a short blog a couple of days ago…..

Linda Chung, Bernice Liu, Edwin Siu and I were chosen as the “Olympic Stars” this year. Yesterday we attended a ceremony where the hosts for TVB’s Olympic Games coverage were announced. We also sang the Olympic theme song “The glorious record” (光輝的印記). Very happy, and honoured to become an Olympic Star because I love sports, and the Olympics only happen every four years.

Recently, I’m working on recording a new album. When the album is released don’t miss it everyone.

Fung to concentrate on singing, will not film TV series in the near future
Fung, Linda, Bernice and Edwin were appointed as TVB’s “Olympic Stars”, they sang the theme song together. They all had fans who gathered to support them, but Linda had the least number of fans attending. She said that it maybe because she hasn’t come out to see them recently, but she actually hopes her fans can spend more time to study and do their own things.

Later on the four will attend many functions to promote the Olympics. As there had been dating rumours between Fung and Linda because of filming, the reporters joked that Fung has many chances to see Linda in the future? He seems tired of these rumours and said, “Yeah! Seeing her so much, want to throw up!” (this is just a saying, not really meaning he hates her or anything, just an expression to say he’ll be seeing a lot of Linda – I don’t want to be flamed for this translation!) He also revealed after filming Moonlight, he will concentrate on singing and won’t film any more TV series in the near future. As Linda will also release an album and be a singer, will they sing a duet? He said probably not, because Moonlight’s subtheme is sing by him (as a solo).

Denies dating Charmaine
When talking about the rumours saying him and Charmaine are wearing couple watches, he defends her and says, “You guys don’t make up rumours about Ah Sheh, there aren’t that many brands of watches.” Earlier Charmaine had been romantically linked to Ron Ng, so the reporters asked Fung who is Charmaine dating? He says he doesn’t know. So is Ron dating Charmaine? To divert the reporters’ attention, he said the rumours of him and Ron are true.

When asked about Charmaine and Fung wearing couple watches, Linda smiles and says, “Really? Then I’m happy for them. (Will you verify this with Fung?) Won’t ask about other people’s business.” Bernice is an “Olympic Star” for the first time, she said her brother (a teacher in Beijing) has tickets to the Olympics, so she would like to take some holidays to watch it. And for Edwin Siu who is returning to TVB and is immediately promoted, he admits he feels very happy and privileged, and wants to watch the matches live.

Which co-star do you have the most “feel” for when filming? Which dancing partner are you most compatible with? Which MV co-star did you have the best impression of? Who will make you the most happy while playing games (in game shows)? Doesn’t matter male or female but the number is limited, every question one person. The question is from the sixth person on table number 7. A very detailed question, but looks like I will only answer one of them. Hahha.

FF committee: The question is from a Shanghai fan. The first time here.
Fung: ah, (switches to Mandarin) hello! Which co-star….if you say most compatible, then the person with the most compatibility is Tavia Yeung. Yeah, most compatible because I’ve known her for so long, almost ten years. Plus we don’t need to say too much, just one phrase and the other person understands (? missed the next bit, he talks so fast!)

Which dancing partner are you most compatible with? Don’t know yet because not many chances to dance. But later on, during Miss HK I have a chance to dance. (Audience: with who?) With a guy and a girl. Both of them can dance very well. Both are not TVB actors. The girl will be Joey Yung, the guy will be (can’t hear…). The guy is not from HK (Audience: from where?).. hmmm…. from Asia. Yeah, from where you guys are (indicating the Taiwanese fans). It hasn’t been confirmed yet, with TVB you don’t know what you’re rehearsing (?) until the last minute. (Audience: what is his surname?) If I tell you his surname you will know! (Someone from the audience must’ve guessed it.) Yeah, Vanness Wu.

What are your views on the SiChuan earthquake? Will you sponsor a child from SiChuan? (a very liberal translation – because I only got about ½ of what he’s saying…) It all happened very suddenly, very shocked. I had asked whether I could go there, do something to help. But because of work I cannot go. FF has had contact with SiChuan fans to see if they’re affected, luckily they’re safe. The reconstruction work will probably take a long time so maybe I will have time later on to go and help.

Myolie and Bernice being chatted up on the streets
People will look twice at beautiful girls! Especially when artists are filming outdoor scenes, there will be many people gathering and talking about them. Myolie and Bernice encountered the same situation too, when they were filming “Survivor’s Law” on Temple Street, they were “chatted up” as well!
The person who was “chatting up” Myolie and Bernice was actually Fung! But that was required by the script. Look at how Bernice is pouting and looking shy, Myolie is also angrily staring, and you can see girls don’t accept all the praises people give them!
Sammul Chan has sinus problems, Temple Street has many people and traffic, no wonder he has to use a handkerchief to cover his nose!
On the day of filming, a crowd gathered to watch. With so many pairs of eyes watching, Myolie, Bernice, Fung, Sammul and (Homer from the series!) are used to it, and wouldn’t be affected!

News Report: Fung denies avoiding Fala Chen
Yesterday, Fung dressed up in horse riding clothes for a function at the racecourse. There’s a report which said the “Moonlight” actors are scared of Fala Chen, they all avoid her after filming because she is too troublesome. Fung said, “No, Fala is my sister in the series, she cannot speak and needs to use sign language. She works very hard learning the sign language and filming was very successful. We know each other well, and didn’t avoid her deliberately.”

Fell off a horse caused injuries throughout his body
Speaking of horses, Fung said, “I’ve filmed quite a lot of ancient costume series and I needed to ride horses. But I fell off a horse while filming “The Last Breakthrough”. At that time we only needed to film one shot, but the horse was throwing tantrums with four legs in the air. Its head hit my chin, and I immediately jumped off but hit the fence. Both my arms, legs and back were injured by the fence and was bleeding. Now I still have the scars.” He said luckily it did not leave him traumatised, and he would still ride horses. Fung said he doesn’t know how to bet on horses, and doesn’t like playing mahjong. “I don’t know much about gambling.”
