Hey your camera is a Leica….eh, hello. Yeah it seems it has been a little while since I’ve chatted with everyone. Because at the moment I’m at Dong Guan, a hospital in Dong Guan filming some scenes for “Picking Star of Adventure”. Recently I’ve travelled to a few places, like Malaysia, so I’m still preparing for the concert, had a meeting with them recently as well. I will also film a music special, maybe in these two months I’ll film something like a music special, mainly so I can introduce myself and my music. Yeah, so in less than two months time I’ll have my concert. (Are you nervous?) Of course I am! Haven’t really starting rehearsing yet, plus I have to pick some songs and also recording my third album. Recently I recorded two songs, one of them I think you guys will really like it, because I quite like it as well. For the moment I think the songs in the third album will be quite good. So you will get to hear them at my concert. I’ll also sing one song at Jade Solid Gold on the 25th, remember to watch it!

A couple of days ago FF posted a video of ah Fung talking about his character in his upcoming series! You can watch the video on YouTube, or download it via the links posted in this thread.

Yeah I’ve recently started filming “摘星之旅” (Picking Star Of Adventure – tentative name). The character in this series…. if you’ve had the chance to see the hairstyle, or the general outfits, you can tell he’s rather….. simple(minded), hmmm not simple-minded, rather honest industrialist. (or it can mean someone in an honest profession? The opposite of his character early on in The Drive of Life I think lol) He’s quite slow on understanding romance/love affairs, a down to earth, practical guy. So that’s the little bit I’ll reveal right now. Actually I’ve worked with Damien Lau (Brother Chung!) for a day now, I can still learn lots of things from him all the time…. very happy that he’s also in this series. We can be father & son again this time.

Which co-star do you have the most “feel” for when filming? Which dancing partner are you most compatible with? Which MV co-star did you have the best impression of? Who will make you the most happy while playing games (in game shows)? Doesn’t matter male or female but the number is limited, every question one person. The question is from the sixth person on table number 7. A very detailed question, but looks like I will only answer one of them. Hahha.

FF committee: The question is from a Shanghai fan. The first time here.
Fung: ah, (switches to Mandarin) hello! Which co-star….if you say most compatible, then the person with the most compatibility is Tavia Yeung. Yeah, most compatible because I’ve known her for so long, almost ten years. Plus we don’t need to say too much, just one phrase and the other person understands (? missed the next bit, he talks so fast!)

Which dancing partner are you most compatible with? Don’t know yet because not many chances to dance. But later on, during Miss HK I have a chance to dance. (Audience: with who?) With a guy and a girl. Both of them can dance very well. Both are not TVB actors. The girl will be Joey Yung, the guy will be (can’t hear…). The guy is not from HK (Audience: from where?).. hmmm…. from Asia. Yeah, from where you guys are (indicating the Taiwanese fans). It hasn’t been confirmed yet, with TVB you don’t know what you’re rehearsing (?) until the last minute. (Audience: what is his surname?) If I tell you his surname you will know! (Someone from the audience must’ve guessed it.) Yeah, Vanness Wu.

What are your views on the SiChuan earthquake? Will you sponsor a child from SiChuan? (a very liberal translation – because I only got about ½ of what he’s saying…) It all happened very suddenly, very shocked. I had asked whether I could go there, do something to help. But because of work I cannot go. FF has had contact with SiChuan fans to see if they’re affected, luckily they’re safe. The reconstruction work will probably take a long time so maybe I will have time later on to go and help.

Fung: (referring to his face turning red after kissing Linda) Really? Yeah I’m normally thin-skinned. Hai la… yeah (laughs)
Reporter: Why? Are you shy?
Fung: Well no, being made fun of in front of all these people…. will feel shy. Yeah.
LSK: I think if everyone is pushing them too hard on the sidelines it’s not very good. If they really feel something for each other and don’t want others to push them too hard, it’s better to just let them develop naturally.
Fung: Yeah, it will happen in the series. (laughs)
Reporters: But in real life….
Fung: better to concentrate on working first….

Then the reporter talks about not only Fung & Linda were made fun of, when they asked Moses what his birthday wishes were, Moses’ good friend became a voice in the background and told us his true feelings inside.

Moses: Birthday wish? Hmmm hope to buy a house…..
Voice: I know!
Reporter: somebody knows wor….
Moses: Ignore him ignore him. (to the voice) Drink something la! I hope I will be healthy….
Voice: Start a family soon!
Moses: and most importantly, have a nice home and career.
Voice: it’s really easy for his face to go red!

The voice is revealed to be ar Fung! Reporter then made some comments about Moses and Fung being good friends. But there had been recent reports saying Fung’s “good guy” character in HOG 2 will win him awards while Moses’ character might die part way through the series, affecting his chances to win the Best Actor award again.

Moses: Yeah I’ve heard many different reports about this, hmmm I don’t really care about them. It doesn’t matter what I say, once the series comes out it’ll all be revealed. I would rather let the audience find out themselves. Don’t say anything, just watch it for yourself, yeah.
Reporter: what about it affecting your chances to be TV king this year….
Moses: I don’t pay attention to these things, I can only do my best.

Reporter: So everyone is thinking that your role in HOG 2 is very good and it will earn you the TV king award this year…
Fung: Actually I hope to win awards every year. Hmm the most important is to portray the character well. So for the whole series….actually the script is very good. I believe that every character, every actor will be very exciting.

(Towards the end of the video, Fung also talks about Kate winning the Best Newcomer award. He said that they were filming when they found out she won, and Moses told everyone.)
