Fung’s first shaking hands function attracts many people and sweats

Recently, Fung’s popularity has risen due to “Moonlight Resonance”. Yesterday he attended a shaking hands function which attracted many fans. He was sweating while he was singing and there was a smart fan who gave him a tissue and was very attentive. This showed what an attraction he is.

Yesterday Fung was promoting his upcoming album, not only did he sing a few songs he also played games with fans. Besides Fung’s fans, the three level shopping centre were also packed with people watching, which also included foreigners. Fung was sweating heavily after singing a few songs, and a smart fan gave him a tissue, this was a pleasant surprise to him.

Fung said that this was his first time he held a shaking hands function with fans, he smiled and said he had already applied a lot of moisturising hand lotion. Is he afraid that some passionate fans will suddenly hug or kiss him? He said, “I don’t think they will! My fans are very polite. I had been hugged by fans before. But I don’t think that’s a problem, it’s just an expression of enthusiasm.

When talking about “Moonlight” ‘s high ratings and whether they will have a celebration function, Fung said, “Grandma (Lee Heung Kam) had already called him and asked when they will have dinner together. But it’s hard to find a time, I would like to take her to a secret place to eat some good food.”

About rumoured girlfriend Linda Chung receiving an award at the “Children’s songs awards”, Fung said he didn’t know about it. But when he was in the studio he saw her rehearsing. When asked whether he hopes to sing a duet with her again, he said that they’re not with the same record company, so if they’re singing a duet the details will need to be negotiated.

Fung: Of course I didnt’ know! If I knew then it wouldn’t be a “first kiss”!
Kitty: I want to ask, were you her first boyfriend?
Fung: Yeah.
Kitty: Aiya! First time for both of you….
Host: Then you can both discover the process of this first kiss….
Fung: It was very very romantic.. we were both learning through every step.
Kitty: Aiya… this one is very good.
Fung: So I think it’s very sweet….
Host: So this whole story, from the confirmation to holding hands to the kiss etc etc, you need to put it in a cupboard and occasionally reminisce because you haven’t had another girlfriend since.
Fung: Haven’t had the chance since entering the entertainment industry….
Host: This is like a living widower….
Kitty: CHOIII!!! (what the Chinese will say when someone says unlucky things!) You’re the living widower…

Recently, Fung has appeared on a few radio interviews. The content is quite similar (where he talks about his love life and rumoured girlfriends). I picked this one to translate because I found it quite funny, especially when Kitty is “electrified” by ah Fung! This radio show was aired on 16th August on FM903′s AiShiTeRu, this segment is called “Love Story”. It is hosted by Kitty Yuen Siu Yee & Yu Dik Wai. As I don’t know the male host’s English name I’ve just referred to him as “Host”!

Raymond Lam Fung is 1/16th Spanish and is very popular against TV fans. From “A Taste of Love”, “A Step into the Past”, “Survivors Law”, “Twin of Brothers” to the recent “Moonlight Resonance”, his popularity is only rising not falling. His fans organised fan clubs for him in HK and Mainland China. HK’s club is called Fung Forever, and the one Mainland China is called FMH. Besides TV fans, music fans also like him. The themes and subthemes sang by Fung are very popular and he also received the award for the best selling male newcomer. Also, he’s also attacking the children’s market by singing theme songs for Digital Dinosaur (?) and Masked Superman. So even little kids like him. But out of everyone I think the people who like him the most are the paparazzi because every time Fung films a new series, they will add a rumoured girlfriend for him. Fung’s popularity has risen due to the airing of “Moonlight Resonance”, recently he was interviewed by Lam Pak Hei (a radio show host from Metro Radio).

When Fung spoke about his love life, he openly admitted that he would like to be in a relationship. He has also met a girl that he has a favourable impression on, but ultimately he will not take action. The reason is because he’s too busy so he cannot spend a lot of time or energy on it, and it would not be satisfactory for the other person. Plus he is a person who desires perfection, so he will often point out the other person’s shortcomings. So everytime he picks a girlfriend he will be very careful, and he’s also afraid that once a relationship happens the feelings will be different from before. Also, he’s very insecure, which caused his love life to be currently empty. He also said he would like his future partner to be a traditional girl, of course he would like a beautiful girlfriend, but feeling comfortable with her is the most important.
